Partnerships and Alliances

ERGO Network works closely together with other civil society organisations in networks, campaigns and common projects in order to make the voices of Roma heard, create synergies and amplify our messages to work together for equality and human rights.

 

Social Platform

ERGO Network is a member of the Social Platform, the largest platform of European rights and value-based NGOs working in the social sector. The Social Platform aims to promote social justice, equality and participatory democracy by voicing the concerns of member organisations.

Alliance against Antigypsyism

ERGO Network is one of the founders of the Alliance against Antigypsyism, a coalition of organisations promoting equality of rights for Roma. The aim of the Alliance is to advance a better understanding of antigypsyism as the specific racism towards Roma, Sinti, Travellers and other groups that are routinely stigmatized as ‘gypsies’ in Europe’s public domain.

EU Roma Policy Coalition

In order to ensure a strong commitment and tangible results by European institutions to the post-2020 EU policy on Roma, a number of (pro-) Roma civil society organisations active on European level have come together to achieve substantive equality, participation and social justice of Roma in all spheres of life by combating antigypsyism,  strengthening Roma and pro-Roma civil society and by fostering principles of good governance in the Roma policies at the EU and national levels, political will and institutional accountability.

European Anti-Racism Action Plan Civil Society Coalition

ERGO Network together with the European Network against Racism and Equinox Initiative for Racial Justice coordinate the EU Anti-Racism coalition established in 2021 with the aim to coordinate advocacy around the EU Anti-Racism Action Plan.

The EU Alliance for Investing in Children brings together over 20 European networks sharing a commitment to end child poverty and to promote child well-being across Europe.

Global Forum of Communities Discriminated on Work and Descent

The Global Forum of Communities Discriminated on Work and Descent (GFOD) is the global coordination and engagement mechanism for the Stakeholder Group of Communities Discriminated on Work and Descent (SG CDWD). ERGO Network is one of the founding members. The GFOD was founded in 2021 and formally recognizes the core motto of ‘Leave No One Behind’ propounded by Transforming Our World: the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.

Facing Facts Network

The Facing Facts Network is a dynamic group of civil society organisations, public authorities and community members that has started to transform understandings of and responses to hate crime and hate speech in Europe and beyond, with the shared aim of securing fundamental rights for all.

International Network against Cyber Hate (INACH)

Based on common values and principles of protecting Human Rights, respect for diversity, inclusion and standing up against Hate, Discrimination and Exclusion, INACH and ERGO Network cooperate closely based on a Memorandum of Understanding.
