Member Organisations

ERGO Network brings together around 30 Roma and pro-Roma organisations from across Europe.

Our members are rooted in local communities, and they work closely with Roma youth, grassroots leaders, and civil society. They understand local challenges and bring community expertise to national and EU-level advocacy.

Together, we create bottom-up pressure for positive action to combat antigypsyism and address Roma exclusion.

Currently, to ensure we maintain a sustainable and high-quality growth rate for the network, our membership pipeline is at full capacity. As a result, we are unable to accept new applications at this time. We expect to re-open membership application procedure starting in June 2026.

Nevertheless, our members are the heart of our organisation, actively contributing their energy and expertise to our shared goals. We are truly delighted to see such strong interest from Roma and pro-Roma organisations across Europe and we hope to hear from you later!

Autonómia Foundation

Autonomia supports civil initiatives in which people mobilise the available local resources to reach their goals. We partner with Roma and non-Roma civil organisations in our activities with marginalised people. Besides direct development work, we organise training and research and facilitate the efficiency of government and European programs targeting the improvement of labour market conditions of Roma and the poor.

Romaversitas

Founded in 1996. In Romaversitas we believe that creating our narrative and changing the current ones is essential for social change. Therefore, our vision is a strong Romani intelligentsia that is capable of asserting the communities’ interests in Hungary, creating narratives for Roma People. Our mission is to provide support for young Roma to acquire academic degrees, enhance their skills, shape their identity, and empower them to build resilient communities.

We are deeply convinced that, as a long-term investment, the education of Romani youth brings sustainable and real social change.

The 1Hungary (associate member)

The 1Hungary Foundation is a newly formalised but deeply rooted Roma-led network in Hungary, bringing together local centres focused on cultural and educational empowerment. Despite the political environment in Hungary, 1Hungary is committed to Roma representation, public visibility, and grassroots leadership. They organise cultural events, support local Roma history initiatives, and nurture the next generation of Roma leaders. Their efforts are amplified through partnerships with the Roma Press Centre and the Polgár Foundation.
